Located at 88 Ocean Avenue Extension and within walking distance of Short Sands and the world famous Nubble Light House in York Beach, Maine sits our ocean front home for weekly rental June 1 through October 15th.
Our ocean side home provides a warm and friendly spot for your family to enjoy the quintessential Maine vacation! Located right on the water, over a rocky bluff, you will be within walking/biking distance of Short Sands Beach, York Shopping/Dining, York’s Wild Kingdom and the famous Nubble Light House. Stunning views of the Atlantic with the sounds of the waves pounding the rocks abound from every window.
With three porch options (Open porch, closed in porch and a sun deck) you can enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise in any weather. Our home is unusual in that there is rare privacy offered by its unique location while still placing you squarely in the Short Sands beach area. The fully appointed home has its own timeless charm while offering family friendly amenities like a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and one and a half baths.
The owner is available in a private apartment with its own entrance on the lower floor (guests have separate entrances with complete and private access to the main and upper floors). Dale has been coming to York since he was a child and is happy to offer suggestions on the best restaurants and family friendly attractions. York is within easy driving distance of Portland, Maine, Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Boston, Massachusetts – day trip opportunities abound!
If you choose to simply stay in, books and puzzles are available – bring the kids, your parents and very well behaved dog for a week of family fun on the coast of beautiful southern Maine.
